Besemkop Cape Vintage 2023

Visible throughout the town of Calitzdorp, Besemkop serves as one of the town’s main landmarks with the breath-taking Swartberge as a backdrop.

The name “Besemkop” translates directly to “Broom Hill” receiving its name from a shrub which once grew in the area. 

Hand bottled in small batches, our 2023 Cape Vintage is made of Tinta Barocca and aged for 18 months in well-seasoned oak barrels.

This wine reveals inviting notes of roasted nuts and richly stewed plums, complemented by subtle hints of milk chocolate, warming cloves and a lingering  finish of salted caramel.
